In this page you can find a modified version of the BaoTV application.
This is a non-official version, it doesn't have any kind of support from the original author and I lack enough time to take care of problems or improvements about this version. This is only published because it's the one that I use and maybe someone else can find it as useful as I do.

First of all, thank you very much Bao for the original program BaoTV and for allowing me to do this modifications.

This program has the same requirementes and limitations than the original program. It is specially important to remember that this program is designed to work only with the Avermedia 98 TV cards. This version only fixes some things to ease the use of the program, so if you got problems, make sure first that the original version works properly, in its web you got enough info about how to configure the program.

Changes in this versión 1.91:

• Button to launch the volume control.

Changes in this latter versions:

• Most of the configuration is saved. The video compression configuration IS NOT SAVED, as far as I have been able to test it's not possible to do it unless using a different scheme as VirtualDub does with its internal capture . completamente distinto de compresión (y que parece dar un peor rendimiento).
• There's only one version, in the Channels configuration dialog now you must choose the kind of tuner used by your tv card.
• In the program recordings dialog now you can define 'profiles' to save configurations of commonly recorded programs.
• Mute button.
• Keyboard shortcuts:
  • 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 -> Channels 1-10
  • + - -> Channel Up, Channel Down
  • . (dot) -> Loop
• Some minor bug fixes
