Gran Canaria Island International Airport Fire Service is a I.C.A.O. requirements 8 Category. Provide a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation, with a minimun of 7 firefighters on duty at all time.
The Fire Station is situated on the southside of the airport near start Runway 03-l. The station has 5 crashtruck, one Fire Chief vehicle, four auxiliary vehicles and two emergency&rescue equipe trailers.
